Use case
Remote barrier control
For car parks, business premises and loading bays: operate your barriers with your phone, let them open automatically at set times and see exactly who drives in and out.
No more handing out passes or remote controls
At a car park with many users, managing passes and remote controls is a chore: lost, not returned, or lent to someone who doesn't belong there. With KT-Control the user's phone is the key. You add users in the app and block them just as quickly.
Open with the app or a phone call
Users open the barrier with the app or by calling the number of the 4G module. The latter is free, because the call is not answered. Only known numbers are recognised.
Opening hours with schedules
Let the barrier stay open automatically at set times, for example during office hours, and outside those hours only open for authorised users. Public holidays and vacation days are taken into account automatically. For each user you set on which days and at what times they have access.
A log of every opening
The event log shows who operated the barrier and when. Faults or inputs, such as a loop detector or a fault contact, can also be reported with a push notification.
Multiple barriers and gates
Do you have an entrance and an exit, or a gate and a door as well? Link multiple modules together. Then you manage all entrances centrally, as a mini access control system. For each user you decide which barriers and gates they may open.
Roles for management
Give the site manager the administrator role, the installer their own role for maintenance, and a reception desk or gatekeeper the operator role. Everyone only sees and does what belongs to their role.
